I went to Warm River yesterday and had very little success compared to normal at Warm River. I don't know if the fish are just acting weird because it is getting cool or what, but at around 4 or 5 the action just completely stop. My buddy caught a couple of fish on a black bead head woolly bugger. I caught two on a super tiny elk hair caddis and one on an adam's.
Warm River is a place where you can go to guarantee that you are going to catch at least a few fish. The fish here are a decent size (10-12 inches). Some flies that have worked well here is caddis, and blue winged olive. The griffith gnat works well throughout the day. I have heard hopper flies work well too, but have not yet tried it. The best fishing is at dusk and at this time you will see fish start to rise like crazy in certain areas.
